About Me

Hey there!

I’m Imogen and I’m currently studying for a degree in History of Art at Cambridge University in the U.K. Before this I went to RADA to study Acting and have worked as an actor and movement director.
I’m originally from Dorset - a beautiful bit of the countryside in the south west of England but have lived in London for most of my adult life.
I’m passionate about art, dance, theatre, architecture and love collaborating with other creatives to create work and learn from one another.

While my Couchsurfing profile is new, I spent last summer Couchsurfing in France with a friend and had an incredible time, meeting some amazing people and making great memories and I can’t wait to make more!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love the idea of Couchsurfing; being able to explore someone else’s culture and share my own is, for me, the perfect way to learn more about the world and make connections and friendships that last.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love jazz music and techno but have an eclectic taste in music - all the way from classical to rock!
My favourite film of all time is probably either The Place Beyond the Pines or La Grande Bellezza.
I love reading novels in lots of genres, some of my favourites are Outline by Rachel Kusk, The Remains of the Day by Kazuo Ishiguro and Shuggie Bain by Douglas Stuart.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Booking a one way flight to New York after meeting someone for 2 days! I can be very spontaneous!

Teach, Learn, Share

I have worked as a dance and drama teacher for a few years and learned so much from the people I taught. As a student, I’m always curious and looking for new experiences and want to spread positive vibes wherever I go :) I’m very respectful of space and privacy but also love meeting new people and sharing experiences!

What I Can Share with Hosts

Cultural exchange, English language and knowledge of theatre and art!

Countries I’ve Visited

England, France, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Portugal, Scotland, Spain, Wales
