ABOUT ME

From what I've heard my friends think I'm energetic, motivating, knowledgable, apparently a pretty good listener and giver of advice. I'm accommodating, flexible and willing to pitch in and lend a hand. I love to meet new people and hearing their stories of life and travels.

I am just coming to the end of a two year visa in the UK. I have been living and working as a teacher in London for the past two years. During this time I have loved living in the city and taking in all the sights and experiences I could with a few trips to other countries during my holidays. I have spent the past two summers at a summer camp for underprivileged children in New York State.

PHILOSOPHY

I believe that everyone has something to teach and something to learn.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am fairly new to the CS community but in the time I have been couchsurfing I have met some unforgettable people and had some very memorable conversations. I am currently travelling so will be surfing rather than hosting for a while but when I settle down with a spare couch of my own I will be sure to return the favour. =)

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

I have volunteered in Timor-Leste and seen the amazing way the people there have bounced back from such unrest. They have such resilient spirits. I also just love hearing about people doing super human things that they didn't think they could do; recovering from serious illness, surviving university or anything that is a challenge for them.
