I'm more into series than films.

As for books, I like ones that captivate you from page one (His Dark Materials, Eleven minutes), that are thought-provoking (A Thousand Splendid Suns, Flowers for Algernon), or ones that I feel resonate with me in some way (Eat, Pray, Love).
