ABOUT ME

I have been traveling since before I could walk. I have lived in England, California and Latin America. I play soccer on Sundays. I love to see films. My bills are paid from my work as a multi-media graphic designer for large corporate events. But I also do a fair amount of photography, which does not pay the bills, but does feed the soul. I have family here in California and in London, and friends all over the world.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Even before joining CouchSurfing.com, I tended to have couchsurfers a couple of times a month. I once got a phone call while traveling in China, from a friend in Boston who was looking for a place his friend could stay for a month in San Francisco due to family emergency. From China I was able to coordinate the delivery of keys to my friends friend and she stayed at my place for the duration of my travels in Asia.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I looked into CouchSurfing.com while recently traveling in East Africa. As it turned out, I ended up staying with people I met through the NGOs which I was visiting to photograph with my traveling companion, Moses Ceaser. Couchsurfing seemed like such a good idea, that I've joined, and look forward to hosting someone at my flat in San Francisco. But long before I heard about CouchSurfing.com, I have informally made my home available to travelers through friends, and friends of friends.
