Vipassana meditator, mathematics student, part-time traveller, sometimes juggler, last time trying to be a cook:)

PHILOSOPHY

nothing is permanent. The nature of reality is arising and passing away. The way to handle it is to realize that fact and to live every other day.

'So many people live within unhappy circumstances and yet will not take the initiative to change their situation because they are conditioned to a life of security, conformity, and conservatism, all of which may appear to give one peace of mind, but in reality nothing is more damaging to the adventurous spirit within a man than a secure future'- damn, I need to remember this..

"You are not special. You are not a beautiful or unique snowflake. You're the same decaying organic matter as everything else"- generally I don't agree with that, but I like this quotation a lot and I think I'm a bit under the influence. Fortunately, it doesn't mean that life can't be happy, beautiful and full of colours.:)
