Although I'm working with Icelandic horses right now, most of the time I'm studying film and fine art, meeting new people, cultures, taking pictures.

ABOUT ME

I am 23 year old art student currently staying in Iceland and working as a horse riding guide for a couple of months. I hope to be quite a nice, easy going person:)

PHILOSOPHY

Don't really have a one good sounding sentence for this, but it would be probably always thinking for yourself and looking for the beauty in all things.

Music, Movies, and Books

As an ex-film student I've seen a lot of movies and my favourites are kind of changing. But I do like von Trier, Polanski, Lynch, Kubrick, Desplechin, Dolan, Bergman, Bunuel, the usual bunch. I love the Taxi driver and lately, Aguirre, der Zorn Gottes just blew my mind away. I also like documentaries made by young people (which I'm interested in making myself). I'm really into music, my longtime obsession would probably be Radiohead but in the past few years I've come to like electronic music such as Four Tet, Caribou, Jon Hopkins, Oneohtrix Point Never. Oh, and I adore King Krule. And jazz. And some good rock and maybe even punk. When it comes to books I must say I don't read us much as I would like to, listening to music always kind of wins:) However, I enjoy Bulgakov, Wilde, Welsh, beat generation, poetry. Getting to read some Jung and Freud.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Knowing I've just taken a good photo is kind of amazing to me. (yes, boring but I'm not that much into jumping from waterfalls...but then you never know)

BUT, swimming in Baltic sea, under the most starry sky I've ever seen... that was really nice.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you Slovak, tell you a lot about movies, teach you how to develop films in darkroom and many other useful things haha. I want to learn everything I can whether it's taking better pictures, playing music, painting, cooking. And somebody please teach me how to skateboard, seriously!
