Overview
About Me
I'm a 22 year old video editor and an aspiring film director. I first came to Sale to enroll in film school, and after graduating I decided to settle here as I loved the city and its authentic vibe.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Mostly to meet new people around where I live and when I'm travelling.
I also wanted to enjoy another hosting experience through Couchsurfing, after I stopped hosting guests through Airbnb for personal reasons. Although I might not be hosting a lot since I might have a lot of guests.
As I'm travelling abroad very soon, it would be great to have couchsurfing as an option when I'm on a budget.
But in general, it's always such an interesting experience for me to make new friendships and hang around with new people.

Music, Movies, and Books
My favourite music genre is Gnawa, French Chansons, Rock and Jazz, however I do listen to all sorts of music.
My favourite musician would be Elton John. "Daniel" is a masterpiece although the lyrics are not even that deep :(
My favourite song is between "Jersey Girl" by Tom Waits or "La Boheme" by Charles Aznavour.
In concerts I mostly love dancy music, I can never get enough of Gnawa concerts.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I directed my first documentary short film and it was selected in several film festivals in Morocco and abroad including the Big Sky Documentary Film Festival, and I'm currently writing my first feature film.
Travelling experiences would be a lot of small ones, but my favourite travel experience is during the Taragalte music festival. It was hosted in the sahara dunes, I camped there as well. Sleeping next to a campfire in the dunes and watching the gorgeous starry sky is a majestical feeling. I would recommend anyone coming to Morocco during November to visit the Taragalte music festival although it will be very tough trying to get there.
Teach, Learn, Share
I started enrolling in music school this year.
I'm hoping eventually that I learn the Oud and the Guembri.
I don't know what I can teach but I can share a lot with people I meet. I love talking about Moroccan culture and Morocco in general, so if you have any questions, shoot!
What I Can Share with Hosts
I believe I'm a great cook. At least I can cook a lot of things but I don't know if tastes good. :))
I do have a lot travel experiences in Morocco, so I can share the best destinations with people depending on what they're into.
