Présentation
À propos de moi
Hello! If I paid them enough, my friends would say I'm kind, energetic and loyal. And fun! I love adventure and learning about new parts of the world, in particular the food, music and architecture.
I've lived in London for a while, though I've also spent time in New York, Washington, Oxford and Cambridge - all of which are incredibly cool cities.
I first used this site whilst taking the train from London to Istanbul over the course of a month. It was a great way to meet new people!
I'll end with an unusual fact: I've met both an infamous dictator and a living god. Prizes for guessing correctly!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I'm totally new to CS, and very intrigued by it.
Centres d'intérêt
My biggest interest is meeting new people, sharing stories and laughs, and getting an insight into how they live their lives.
I'm really into music, films and books... more on that in the relevant box below!
I love art that makes you think, that provokes a reaction. For instance, Monet, Rothko or Yayoi Kusama.
The English countryside is beautiful and I like to escape to it whenever I can. Much as I love London, I miss the fresh air and clear night skies. Of course, it sometimes rains so waterpoof clothing is advisable!
Oh, and I love to cook Indian food - not so spicy that it destroys the flavour, but just a little kick to get you going...

Morceaux de musique, films et livres
I *love* music. I'm into a wide range of genres, but my favourites are Bob Dylan, Radiohead, Arcade Fire, Frank Ocean and The XX. I go to a lot of gigs in London - one of the best venues is really close to my flat, thankfully!
Films I love include: The Lives of Others; Withnail & I; Napoleon Dynamite; Burn After Reading; Four Lions; Carnage; The Godfather; Some Like It Hot; Casablanca; There Will Be Blood; Anchorman; anything by Herzog
Some of my favourite books are: Wolf Hall; Lolita; A Suitable Boy; Midnight's Children; The Border Trilogy; Portnoy's Complaint; A Confederacy of Dunces; Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas; Dr Zhivago; The Master and Margarita
Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue
The most amazing place I've been to is Isfahan in Iran - incredibly beautiful capital of the old Persian empire.

I can teach you...
- how to cook a tasty Indian dish (vegetarian or meat, either)
- a few songs on guitar if you have one to hand
- a few words in Urdu
- the constellations and how to tell the planets (this will require a clear night sky - which I guess can't be guaranteed!)
