ABOUT ME
All about me would be hard to cover. But to keep it short and sweet, I'm 24 and just started my first career-related job in the Philippines working with an NGO doing environmental planning and local economic development. I love it, and hope to continue working at the grassroots level once this 6-month position plays out. I'm hoping to go back to school next fall for a Master's of Planning, most likely in Toronto or Vancouver. You can never get enough Canada...

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Even though I've had this account for so many years, I have yet to settle down in once place long enough (between school, exchanges, traveling, and internships abroad) to offer my couch to anyone. On the flip side, while I'm traveling I usually end up camping somewhere in a tent or sleeper van or someone's couch that has been offered to me not directly through this site.
I think the idea is amazing and am definitely all for the experience!
Interests
I love lots of things, but off the top of my head they include fun stuff like: snowboarding, kite boarding, longboarding (anything boarding really...), bikes and biking culture (mountain, road or urban), canoe trips, music and arts festivals, red wine, reading awesome books, picnics in pretty places, cooking delicious food (but also just eating delicious food), and learning random new things.
I think I get along very well with most people that are also open-minded, and am always down for a new adventure! I'll leave the rest for you to see for yourself when we meet.

Music, Movies, and Books
I love music. I especially love music festivals, and can't really go about my day without a good beat to suit to my current mood.
I love movies. I especially love going to drive-in cinemas or making my own home videos.
I love books. I especially love reading historical or weird fiction, and non-fiction to teach me things.
But best of all, I love sharing and recommending favourites of the above three with other people. Hope you have some good suggestions!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Spent the night on the Great Wall of China (with 2 friends, a bottle of wine, and a sky full of stars)
