Overview
About Me
I was born and raised in Istanbul and I moved to Berlin in October 2016. I speak English fluently, Turkish natively and a little bit of German.
I love craft beer, travelling, sightseeing and talking about languages, history, politics.
My old CS profile used to say that I've never been abroad. It's funny reading that now, because a lot has changed since then. I visited more than 10 countries and lived in San Francisco for 6 months, before moving to Germany.
I'm also interested inphilosophy, psychology, cognitive sciences and of course music. I'm more of a consumer of good music though, rather than being creative.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
When I was in Istanbul, I hosted a bunch of people from Germany, Italy, Russia, Austria, Morocco... It's been a long time since I actively used this platform. Now I am in Berlin, got to know the city more or less, have a couch to share and would love to continue the CS journey by hosting fellow travellers or just grabbing a few drinks and talking about the world we live in.

When I go somewhere I want to learn the local life, local culture, the languages, the music, and maybe some local drinks and interesting food :) I cannot teach how to cook, or probably won't be able to cook for you, but I can teach some Turkish, and also I would love to talk about the recent uprising in Turkey.
