Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Heard about couchsurfing the first time when I was traveling in South-America. Thought it was a great way to meet new people, travel cheap and get an authentic experience while travelling. There is so much more to experience when you meet people who live in the place you visit.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Tried it for the first time in Israel, and had a great first time experience! Since then I have tried it a few times in different countries. When I lived in Russia I had the opportunity to contribute with my couch which was a great experience. For example there was one Russian guy staying in my place in 2011 and when I was in Moscow recently I met him again and took my to places in Moscow I would never had gone to if it was not for him. Couchsurfing gives you the opportunity to explore new things.
