About Me
CURRENT MISSION
to see, to try, to fail, to learn, to grow up and look around. to change. to stay the same.
ABOUT ME
Hmm. It is always a bit hard, I guess, to explain myself. Probably better to see, hear and talk to, than to read about. But still.. :)
I love nature, I ride a bicycle, I study political science. Does it say much to you? I can still be anybody.
But speaking about me, I am wondering about the life. As Peter Hoeg in one of his books has children in the school who wonder about time being longer and shorter.
I have been involved in non-governmental organizations long enough to get disappointed but met enough people to get inspired again. I have been a board member of National Youth Council of Latvia, working with the youth policy questions, trying to improve the environment for youth NGO's in Latvia. (www.ljp.lv) Apart from that there was Experiential Learning Center of Latvia, where I grew up as a person and trainer. (www.lpic.lv)
Now it is "Sense of Team" where I work with my friends and with a mission to create environment for the development of any team/group that needs it. (www.senseofteam.lv)
I am also one of the founders for the organization - Imanta ZiedoÃâ¦Ãâ a fonds "Viegli". The goal is to promote creativity, continue the ideas of genious Latvian writer and poet Imants Ziedonis, as well as help new ideas develop and shine. Just listen to a music album "Viegli" (meaning Light (or easy)) on www.fondsviegli.lv.
I have been in many places, seen a lot. But it feels like I just recently started to do conscious travelling, before that it was just the occasion that I go somewhere but don't realize that I am there. Japan and Italy changed a lot. Willing to see more.
My heart is open, still. I am emotional and calm, but
I learn to live with passion, to make decisions with heart. My mind is sometimes very serious. My arguments are sometimes very wrong. as any arguments.
Willing to learn from you... :))
PHILOSOPHY
I am asking this question to myself over new every day. Why do I live my life? For what was I created?
No real philosophy, I live. And see what comes.
In the recent time I think about failing a lot. And raising and learning.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I have met some very good friends through CS, it changed my being in Paris many times. It saved me many times. I am still finding my way to host people in Riga.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
After some hours of panic, I got a place to stay through friend of friend from CS in Rome. Actually experience of the life, how in the evening there is already somebody who cares about me in the city where nobody cared about me few hours ago.
Before that I have been twice in Paris and I stayed in the place of HC members, amazing time as well.
