ABOUT ME
Hiya!
I'm an Israeli born lady who landed on THE island in September 2010. After travelling around the world and studying in The Hague as an exchange student, I decided to once again put my 'student' hat on and sharpen my pencils.
I have a Hospitality Club profile (username: inbald) however, I opened a profile here as I simply love the idea of meeting new people, hosting/surfing and explore diverse cultures.
Besides art I am very much fond of travelling (long distance) and walking (not-too-long distance). I try to stay as spontaneous and open minded as I can in order to let life sway me.
I am curious, sometimes too much. It means people can hardly bore me but they might get sick of me asking 'why'.
Generally go to museums / galleries during the day and loosen up in open-mics. Sometimes I use my camera to speak for me. On a weekly basis I write poetry. Languages mean a lot to me.
PHILOSOPHY
I'm like a rolling stone.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I have participated in HC as a host when I lived in Israel - met so many nice and interesting people from all around the world! Sometimes it was only for a cuppa and sometimes for a few days on my couch - real fun that's for sure.
Nowadays when living in Edinburgh, I gradually get to know the city I live in more and more with every person I meet. It's wonderful indeed.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
It's always a positive challenge to interact with new people from different countries - with some of them I keep in touch up till today.
I was also host around the UK, Holland and Germany - great adventures, really, some of them I will never forget!
Interests
Art, nature, walking, tea, tea&chat, tea&cake, philosophical conversations, history, art history, frequent museums/galleries, music, being verbally challenged (I can mumble in French, a bit in German as well).
