About Me

CURRENT MISSION

See all I can, while I can and leave the place better than I found it.

ABOUT ME

I'm very animated and passionate by nature frankly, I don't spend a lot of time with people that aren't. I find people are often confused or even offended by random, cynical, strange, hilarious and generally awesome actions. I don't get it. Why act like everyone else?

Anyway, I workout and a good portion of the remainder of my time is spent on homework or work. I have been known to drink some on occasion...and act foolish, and sing, and take my boxers off, and put them on my head...and wake up on train tracks somewhere, next to a headless Barbie and a copy of Stud Muffin Monthly, with the distinct flavor of cigarettes and feet in my mouth. Ummmm...I've said too much.

I am interested in health and nutrition. I love to cook, I work out 3 to 4 days a week and I take more supplements than even I can keep track of. I used to be a personal trainer but I realized quickly that I didn't enjoy convincing people to take care of themselves.

I also LOVE to cook. I love to eat too but, cooking is awesome. I started baking a few years ago and that is what I am doing most now. I have been on a perpetual health kick since high school and so I started baking healthy. That inspired my healthy bakery business.

Waste of any kind infuriates me.

PHILOSOPHY

My personal philosophy is very simple:

Live, Learn, Experience, Teach and Help. Do anything and everything you want as long as it is not at someone else's expense. When you see an opportunity to help someone, take it.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I host when I can and I attend the CS events here in town. I don't plan any because I have a curse on me that would damn any attempt at a party long before it began.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I'm finally able to host here in San Francisco! I have a very comfortable couch-bed that can easily sleep two if need be. I have to insist that the days you are here be days that I have off from the hospital. This shouldn't be a problem since I only work three days a week!

Interests

Wine, Cooking, Italian Food, Mexican Food, Any Food, Religion, New York, Broadway, Classic Simpsons, Philosophy, A Little Bit of Politics, Innocent Flirtation, Dumb Things We All Do that You Can Laugh At, Tennis, Racquetball, General Silliness, Film, Fitness and Nutrition.

I am passionate about the following films: V for Vendetta, So, I Married an Axe Murderer, Ferris Bueller's Day Off, Star Wars, Ghostbusters, Labyrinth or The Princess Bride.

I am also a huge wine lover. I wouldn't call myself a snob because I like more wines than not but, there are those that are just divine.

I love meeting people with an open mind who, like me, will try anything once. People who love experience; and appreciate the little things, with a passion for life's experiences.

I find everything fascinating. There are times I find myself overwhelmed with things to study.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I chased a criminal down once! No big deal though. He was unarmed and scared to death. Good story though.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can exhaust certain topics if allowed to continue talking. Wine, health, human nature, politics, pizza...so, you know, don't ask me about any of that. :-)
