Overview
About Me
I took this lengthy test online once, and it said I was an "INTJ". That's pretty weird considering I'm also into traveling and going to other places. I mostly travel alone, to save myself the hassle of basing my schedule on somebody else.
I'm a voracious book reader. My favorite genres are sci-fi, mystery, the occult, fantasy, and most other fiction.
I consider myself to have an adventurous sense of taste. I only have 3 things I am hesitant in eating: balut, bell peppers, and ampalaya/bitter gourd
I tend to be very shy at first, but give me time to warm up to you and you'll be in for one heck of a conversation.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I enjoy traveling, yet am always on a budget. I'd rather spend on food than on accommodations, with the hotels in some areas charging both an arm and a leg to stay for a night in.
Since I travel mostly alone, my budget is pretty tight and every little help counts.
Also, it is fun getting to know a different person each time I get to visit a certain place. It's like reading a new book which replies to what you say to it.
Interests
I have very diverse interests, which range from musical plays, MMORPG's and other computer games, books, geeky stuff, anime/manga, health related stuff, and others.
The best way to know all of these is to talk to me.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music:
- any music with lyrical sense, actually. Though I dabble in the non-sense as my guilty pleasure once in a blue moon
- examples of artists: Lady GaGa, Postmodern Jukebox, Sam Smith, Aerosmith, Nirvana, any lively Broadway musical (Cats, Book of Mormon, Avenue Q), a bit of punk rock, alternative, and a slight touch of the classics
Movies:
- those that have a good story line, those that make me think, and those with a depth unlike others. I also enjoy an animated film every once in a while.
- examples: Shutter Island, Inception, The Voices, Whiplash, Seven Psychopaths, Fight Club
- I exceptionally hate horror films
Books:
- I mostly enjoy fiction, especially those that have a fast pace and keep me on the edge of turning to the next chapter
- examples: Harry Potter series, anything by Chuck Palahniuk, Neil Gaiman, Dan Brown, Michael Crichton, a whole lot more
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I shall keep a list here:
- traveled by land, sea, and air within 12 hours
- set foot on Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao within 24 hours
- freediving
- going to Singapore as my first international trip
- rode a horse on my own
Teach, Learn, Share
I was once a Nursing professor, so I can actually impart a whole lot about health-related stuff. I also have a lot of interests which I can gladly engage you in a conversation with.
I have my own set of philosophies, but I also travel with an open mind.
For me, the best part about traveling is when I break my own pre-conceived notions about a certain geography and amaze myself in the process.
What I Can Share with Hosts
My fun and upbeat personality is something to keep any quiet moment at bay.
I always make sure that my personal hygiene is impeccable, and to minimize the burden the host may have in a traveler like me.
