Chi sono

CURRENT MISSION

To see the world, then write crazy things about it that may or may not actually have happened.

ABOUT ME

I'm pretty laid-back when I want to be, and pretty out there when I feel like having a good time. Going to bars is always fun, but you won't see me stumbling out of one if I'm driving.

My brother used to call me the Voice of Reason, but that was mostly because I told him that running into traffic while drinking straight from the bottle was "not exactly the best idea."

Right now I've been attending upper-education for six...years? wow. No end in sight, either. I'm not really in it for the degree (though I want one), I want the experiences, really, because that's where writing comes from.

I also play video games, but not as much as I used to.

oh. and I write haiku.

PHILOSOPHY

"You only remember living once."

Musica, film e libri

Movies:
I prefer things in the Zombie genre (which by now is a genre), but also go for Indie comedy flicks. I'll still cram into a seat for the latest blockbuster, but after working a theater for two years I'd rather wait a couple weeks and avoid the midnight-show crowd.

Music:
Really into the punk-rock (not punk) scene. Tight jeans and home-sewn butt-flaps aren't really my thing. I'll get in to some alternative rock, but really I like the musicians who aren't always serious about what they're doing.
Bands: Alkaline Trio, Bad Astronaut, Coheed and Cambria, Face to Face, Hey Mike!, Inspection 12, Lagwagon, Millencolin, No Use for a Name, Panic! at the Disco, Pulley, Rise Against, Say Anything, Third Eye Blind, A Wilhelm Scream, Zebrahead

Books: Fiction mainly, I used to read fantasy a lot and some sci-fi, but now it's really all about contemporary fiction authors for me.
Authors: Adams, Gaiman, Heller, Kerouak, Murakami, Palahniuk, Vonnegut

Una cosa incredibile che ho fatto

Hiked up a mountain
Buddha sat: hundred feet tall.

-If you're not sure about a choice, think it over a little more. If that doesn't work, flip a coin. No matter what, any choice you make will be the right one as long as you're making it with a positive attitude and for good reasons.

-If you want to change your mind, change it. Life's too short to be stuck in a rut.

-You're never too old to go home, but at the same time you're never too old for your parents to drive you crazy.

-Sometimes it's better to buy it even if you don't have the money. A month of ramen is so worth a first-printing Murakami.
