ABOUT ME

mmmm... I like stuff. Weird stuff mainly. I enjoy clowning & watching peoples' reactions to bizarre situations. I like the environment and creatures most of all though.

PHILOSOPHY

Still trying to sort it out, but I figure you only live this life once and so should pack as much stuff in as possible. Seize the minute!
Be nice to everyone and everything you meet and you'll find that, more often than not, the universe has a way of ensuring you're taken care of.
And above all respect nature because without her we're nothing.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've surfed with a lot of amazing people and hope that our interactions have made way for more beautiful experiences for others, and have hosted back in Brisbane in our lovely 6-people share house.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Faaaantastic!
I first couchsurfed in Italia, and had a really amazing time. I travelled there on my own but never felt alone, and I met some really cool people who I'll never forget - and will hopefully see again sometime!
I surfed & hitched from France to Hungary with my mate Jenna, and we met some amazing people and had some very interesting experiences...
I also surfed with my husband through England and we had a great time. Met great people again; CSing saved our whole trip!

Morceaux de musique, films et livres

Ah! too much to remember, but at the moment I've been musically getting into Roma gypsy stuff, post & acid-influenced rock, UK & French hip hop, reggae, a bit of noise & ambient stuff & the list goes on...

Books - lately been getting into some environmental philosophy-based books - authors such as David Abram, Alan Weisman and James Lovelock, and have been reading a bit of Franz Kafka and Paulo Coelho. Hilary Mantel also rocks my world, as does Tom Robins. So many great writers in the world!

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

Hitching Scandinavia
&
Stonehenge Summer Solstice 2005... seeing the sun rise over the ancient rocks was a pretty intense experience, druids everywhere! Won't forget that in a hurry.
&
DIVING! Scuba is fantastic - floating, being pulled by currents, surrounded by beautiful fish, turtles, many different sea creatures. One of the best things to be experienced.

I can help with English, how to mix on vinyl turntables, lend some knowledge on music, travel, a bit of cooking (all from scratch), dumpster diving : )
