Overview
About Me
My name is India Craddock and I am a 20 year old female student. I am interested in the world around me and try to have a strong sense of empathy.
I studied Sociology and Criminology at University- definitely keen in social issues!
Most of my weekends are spent tramping (that's NZ for hiking) or with friends. And tramping with friends.
I am relatively sociable but have no qualms of being alone- I love to just walk around alone and ponder! Always keen for a few beers and a good discussion however. I will usually say 'up to you!'.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I am a student who wants to see the world :) Meeting like minded people would strengthen my adventure and open my mind more.
I have always had a keen interest in adventure- my parents took me overseas often when I was younger and after a 5 week jaunt in Vietnam and Cambodia the passion for travelling is instilled in me!
After finishing my degree I have bought a ticket to travel around for almost 5 months. Started in Japan, currently in Europe and finishing in China. Any tips or tricks are appreciated.
Interests
Hiking! Reading, history (mainly Russian or German.. Communism is very exciting), exploring, beer…
I usually enjoy most things I do :) it is hard for me to be bored

Music, Movies, and Books
Books: Modern American classics. Have recently enjoyed: Catch-22, One Hundred Years of Solitude, Love in the Time of Cholera, The Secret History, The Hitch-hikers Guide to the Galaxy [series], A Farewell to Arms.
Movies: Not too fussy! Wes Anderson films are always sweet.
Music: A mix for sure.. The National, Pink Floyd, The Black Seeds, Tallest Man on Earth.. Maybe a sneaky bit of Justin Bieber too.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Camped on top of the tallest mountain/volcano in the North Island of New Zealand (Mt Ruapehu).
What I Can Share with Hosts
If you come to Wellington I can help organise casual hospitality work and show you around my beautiful city! When I arrive back home I will accept guests in my flat. Of course I will pay it forward.
When staying in your home I will respect privacy, keep the place clean (and clean if required), share stories and offer my books, we can converse about many things! I am open to discussion and love to broaden my horizons.
