A restless spirit. Passionate about people, art and travel. Love to learn, meet new people. Very hospitable. Hate liars, thieves and injustice. I also hate housework, but I do enough to stay healthy. I'm not a thrill seeker, I like my feet firmly on the ground, unless they are in a plane travelling between countries. Thrills I get come from nature - you cant substitute it! Live with my husband and daughter.

PHILOSOPHY

Dont put me into a slot, because just when you work me out, you will find out you haven't. I'm pretty easy going, but hate being taken advantage of. Don't sit there and moan about your lot in life, dont think happiness comes from someone else, get up and make the changes yourself. And I totally believe in karma - what goes around, comes around....

Music, Movies, and Books

Love movies like Message in a Bottle, The Notebook, Moulin Rouge, Take the Lead (Antonio mmm yum). Cant stand science fiction, horror etc....Like the odd psychological thriller just to keep me on my toes eg, Silence of the Lambs, The Plumber etc. A really good comedy is great, but not if it is lame comedy. I remember as a kid laughing hysterically at Norman Wisdom.
Music likes cover a wide range depending on my mood. Not really into hip hop or music where the artists just cant sing to save themselves. I like rythym and style, if it moves something inside of me, then I like it. Most of the music I love has a connection to something in my life or someone and has meaning.
Books - I'm the queen of reading, I have to limit myself otherwise my nose would always be in a book. I cant sit down to eat breakfast without a book or mag beside me. Bliss to me would be wall to wall books of interest in my house.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

To me amazing things come from nature, and one of the most amazing things I have seen is sunrise from a plane, I dont know how many thousand feet up in the air, no camera could capture what the eye could see, I will never forget it! And everyone lining up along the beach on a tropical island each night just to watch the sunset. Oh yes and having a child is pretty much up there on the list!!

Teach, Learn, Share

I have always been interested in things made by hand and would be willing to share anything I know in that line. People are one of my passions so just talking to others is an exchange. Cultural exchange is a learning thing. We could teach you how to cook your food underground too...how about that!
