CURRENT MISSION

I am taking a trip to Europe to see friends in Germany, do a 200 hour yoga teacher training in Spain, and travel around afterwards!

ABOUT ME

I'm always up for trying something new. I'm friendly. I'm honest. I love to listen to and play music. Hula hooping and making jewelry are two of my favorite pastimes. I love to swim and hike. Cats are my favorite animal. I like the sky. I would consider myself a "foodie". I'm a sucker for Disney movies.

PHILOSOPHY

Respect and learn from all different kinds of people, ideas, and faiths. I believe in Karma and the universal law of cause and effect.

I like to get to know a place from people who live there and submerge myself in the culture! I've met some amazing people couch surfing. I would prefer to meet more amazing people and roll out a sleeping bag on someones floor than stay in a hotel :)

I love to listen to music, go on hikes, explore new places , play guitar or a tambourine if it's available, do arts and crafts, socialize, do yoga, hula hoop, travel, and meet new people.

My favorite bands of all time are Pink Floyd, Ween, Modest Mouse, Man Man, Radiohead, and Talking heads.

My current go-to Pandora stations are Thievery Corporation, Boombox, Alt-J, Santigold, Nina Simone, Gorillaz, Govinda, Jose Gonzalez, Florence + the Machine, and can even go for some Tupac and Biggie from time to time!

Hunter S Thompson is one of my idols. I admire that he pushed societal boundaries and refused to conform to conventional ways of life.
I think The Love Song of J. Alfred Prufrock is genius.

My favorite movies are Forrest Gump, The Big Lebowski, 500 Days of Summer, The Lion King,

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

While I have traveled all over the U.S. and out of the country a couple times, I had been living in Iowa my entire life. My most recent feat was moving out of my home state to the city of Denver, Colorado! It might not seem so "amazing" but it was a huge milestone in my book. I learned so much about myself and life. I lived there for the past year and a half until I decided it was time to live my dream of backpacking around Europe! Now I'm off to conquer the wanderer life.
