About Me

CURRENT MISSION

do something awesome every day

ABOUT ME

I think I'm pretty down to earth, always ready to laugh, jam, or take a walk. I love to cook, ferment things, jam, garden, and talk about doing such things, though I wouldn't say I have a limited breadth of conversation. I enjoy wordplay and word games. Puns and taboo subjects tend to slip into conversations. I'll always want to know more about you.

PHILOSOPHY

Do what you love, and be honest to everybody. Don't be mean.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I host! Sometimes I am hosted!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Austin, Burlington, Ottawa, Madison, Monterrey (CA), Portland, and Maui. All have been quirky, delicious times. It's really great to meet folks who are new to my area, both to tell them about it and to hear about places they've been that I haven't. Most couchsurfing experiences have involved food and/or beer, which is great.

Interests

listening to and making music, watching and making movies, travelling (duh), cooking, looking at the sky, homebrew, space themed dreams

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I hiked a 14er outside of Boulder, Colorado... most impressive thing I've ever done. 3 months on the road across the US... longest thing I've ever done. A 10-12 ft. tiger shark swam in front of my kayak.
