About Me
Hi! I'm a recent graduate from Oxford University. I spend most of my time working in a cinema, doing activist work, making yummy vegan food, experimenting with paint, playing with my 5 year old niece, making collaborative art, scrolling twitter (:(), reading/writing poetry, and petting dogs. I absolutely love dogs. I absolutely love art, too. My party song choice is David Bowie's 'Young Americans'. I'm hung up on spending my life entirely hanging out with new people in new places, and on sharing life as much as possible with as many people as possible -- ain't it what keeps the world turning?
If you're a poet or artist send me your stuff! I'd love to see what the citizens of the world are writing about when no-one's looking.
Best wishes :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
It's integral to my personal philosophies and politics that travel is accessible to everybody who wishes to pursue it, no matter your background or financial capabilities. Travelling thus far in my life has changed who I am and I believe that should be offered to everybody no matter what is or isn't in their wallet. The world belongs to all of us as a whole and it's so important we keep that alive. Couchsurfing is doing GREAT at supporting that ethic - especially competing against violent mega-corps like Air BNB. Its lovely - and I cherish it - that the community spirit is kept alive and thriving by this site and its hosts and travellers alike.

Let's save this one for when we meet!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Spent 5 weeks living in a commune in San Francisco. All I'll tell you is that it's true, you leave your heart there.
Teach, Learn, Share
I live by the following quote:
"And now that you don't have to be perfect, you can be good."
Take it with you, too! Put it in your pocket! Carry it around with you wherever you go and whatever you do. It will never fail you.
