CURRENT MISSION

Renee: son is 21 yrs old. I have traveled the world and I believe everyone should if they could. Nature, cultures, belief's... can take you out beyond 'this'.

Mason: My goal is to become independent of the "cog" status the Americans tend to fall into. I want to become enlightened and share my thoughts and happiness with like-minded thinkers. Likewise, I want to make, listen to, and experience music and share it with whoever will listen, though I will make what I make and if people like it or not is their decision. Money is of no concern to me and I hope to find a point in my life where I no longer need it to dictate my life depending on how many pieces of paper and metal I have.

ABOUT ME

Renee: I'll get to know you in time...

Mason: I currently spend my time doing normal teenage stuff; for the most part that includes video games, movies, music, and BMXing. I believe in Buddhist teachings so you will find that for a 21-year-old I am much more laidback and open-minded than others, and I try daily to improve my dedication to the philosophy of Buddha's teachings. I love making friends and learning new things, and I am currently working on learning Japanese and Anthropology at university. When I'm not working on these things I have a job at Kroger grocery.

Mason: As stated before, I identify myself as Buddhist.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Renee: I believe that whether we stick to 'our' safe place or we stretch and grow ourselves--- we all end up in the same place- awake or asleep. One sure promise in life is death- what you do before that is up to you!

Mason: I participate because I would like to prepare myself and better my credibility for when I couchsurf myself, hopefully across Europe, Asia, and perhaps even more. As far as the how, I tend to to be the entertainment of our guests, sometimes we introduce each other to new shows or games and other times we sit and speak about philosophy for hours on end. I have not had a single dull guest and I am more than excited for the people I'll meet, simply based on who I've already met.
