ABOUT ME

We are young not only in age but in spirit. We want to travel, we love seeing new places and we are fond of new people. For us the world is a beautiful place. We like sightseeing but we also like finding places where we can feel the spirit of the country, where tourists don't go. We just love nature. We cannot live long away from mountains and woods. We also strongly believe in preserving the environment and try to live green as much as it is possible in a big city. We buy and consume according to our needs and we don't throw away food.
We are interested in astrology and we do not try to guess the future by reading the stars. We use it for better understanding of the people and ourselves.
We are interested in Psychology, too. Manuela is Bachelor in Psychology and Stoil is a psychodrama consultant.
We have very special connection to alternative theater (we've played in more than 20 performances). Currently Stoil explores the borders of a theatre concept he calls DING, where everything happens here and now (no script) with the active participation of the audience. This year was the premiere of the movie "The Wooden Lake", where he is one of the writers and the main actor.
We both love children. Manuela is a kindergarten teacher-to-be.
We also like staying at home, preparing good food, watching movies or having a nice long, but meaningful conversation.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

If you come to our place we will be glad to cook a traditional Bulgarian dish for you, tell you about our country and the people, show you around if we have the time and talk about different topics. Please, do not expect us to take you to a night club or a bar and stay until 3 in the morning. We just don't enjoy noisy places. If you have decided to spend more time in Bulgaria, we would definitely recommend you to go to the mountains or go together with you in the weekend.
Oh, yes, we both have full time jobs from Monday to Friday and in the summer we are often out of the city for the weekends.

Here are some of the movies we like: Twin Peaks, The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, Snatch, Inglourious Basterds, Sherlock Holmes, Seven, Fight Club, K-PAX, Chicago, Cabaret, Cat on a Hot Tin Roof, Spider, Identity, Coffee and Cigarettes, Ana y los Lobos, Ten Minutes Older:The Trumpet, Arizona Dream... Some of our favourite directors are Lars von Trier, Tarkovsky, Guy Ritchie, Emir Kusturica, David Lynch, Wim Wenders, Milos Forman, Carlos Saura, Bernardo Bertolucci and Quentin Tarantino.

As for music we both like Dead Can Dance, Enigma, Tool, Hedningarna, Goran Bregovic, Shantel but we don't mind listening to radio hits too. Manuela is very fond of bands like Metallica, Nirvana, Slipknot, Soulfly, System of a Down but she doesn't listen to them very often. We both don't like electronic music.
