To explore strange new worlds, seek out new life, and new civilization. To boldly go where other backpackers have most likely gone before? I mean, at least one, probably.

ABOUT ME

I'm back in Tulsa for the moment, after a stint on the Appalachian Trail in 2011 had me fall in love with the East Coast (thru-hike attempt - made it from Springer, GA through most of VA on that trip, and filled in the gaps through lower PA on short trips after - would love to go back and finish the northern half someday!). That trip convinced me to move to Maryland for a few years, but now I'm looking down the barrel of (finally) getting out to Portland, OR, which I've been *trying* to do for a decade!

I'm an avid tabletop gamer, reader, hiker, traveller, writer and artist. I love to sing, love to dance, love to explore new humans and places, and run around in the woods with people while dressed in medieval garb. In the last several years, I've finally made the leap into full-time freelance arting, and so far, I am still alive to tell the tale. :) Check out my gallery at indigowarrior.deviantart.com if you're keen!

I was hosted by tons of lovely, amazing people across several countries in 2008/2009, and hope to host others as soon as I find a place to hang up my boots and stop being a nomad. :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I sat on a mountain in rural Indonesia when the mosques in the valley went to prayer. Hearing multiple prayers bouncing off the countryside and echoing around us was unimaginably beautiful.

I'm a pretty good cook, and love to cook meals for my hosts! Plus, I'd be happy to do a sketch, or something.
