About Me

hellooo

I'm Jane and i currently live in Munich and study there.
I'm trying really hard to see as much as possible of what the world has to offer. Frankly you need a lot of money and that's why i need to save some on accomodation. I figured that couchsurfing might be a good way to do so cause it's also a nice experience meeting new people with the same interests and same spirit.

I'm looking forward to meet you !! :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Best way to see a city or a country is to receive the information from people who live there and love it there. I believe in the community of people in general and i'm pretty sure we miss out on a lot because we refuse to look beyond our own nose. that is what i am trying to do every day cause meeting new people and discuss with them is the best and easiest way to learn about life and yourself!!

Music, Movies, and Books

my music taste is a wild mix of everything. even my playlists seem pretty messy and without any sense
(Tash Sultana, Lime Cordiale, Buena Vista Social Club, Tame Impala, Fat Freddy´s Drop, Landon McNamara, Sticky Fingers, etc.....)

with books it is almost the same thing. I can read Harry Potter over and over again, but i also value something like "Extreamly loud and incredibly close".
"A thousand splendid suns" almost broke my heart and "Into the wild" make me forget everything else and almost read twelve hours in a row.
My newest favorite is "We will die" a book about buddhism, but i think there is only the german version available.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Me and a friend travelled to India (the Andamanes to be exact) and met a really cool person called Gautam, who took us to a special Island (Havelock). He was working at the diving school where we did our PADI Advanced and I got the license on my 19th Birthday with a cake (homemade by the wive of one of the diving instructors). He also took us on a hiking trip to the most beautiful and lonely beach i have ever seen.
Thank You, Gautam! I am looking forward to seeing you some day again :)
