CURRENT MISSION

Currently I'm focusing my energy on my music and on trying to create a new life for myself in a new place.

ABOUT ME

I'm trying to get out of a rut I've been in since selling my business 6 months ago. I've lived in a beautiful small community in Toronto for the past 5 and a half years, but I'm starting to feel it is too small, and I'm longing for new experiences. I'm a very nice, polite, and understanding person. I'm open minded to adventure, but just as happy spending solitary moments reading, listening to music, and watching movies. My biggest passion is music, I play classical piano, I sing jazz and some blues and also write originals.

PHILOSOPHY

I always TRY to live in the moment, although I'm constantly finding myself dreaming of futures or getting stuck in the past. I believe in always trying to be impeccable with your words, and I interpret that as being truthful and not wasting words on hateful or judgmental comments. I just want to experience life as it happens while being as helpful to others along the way as possible.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have just joined the site and have not yet participated, but I'm looking for places to stay in and around Quebec, preferably in Montreal, as I'm hoping to move there by the end of the year.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Well I tend to be easy to get along with with people who are easy going. So whenever I run into laid back types of personalities I have a great time.

I actually spend a lot of time going to see live music. Really its almost all I do if and when I go out. I love live blues and jazz, and have seen some of the best players in and around Toronto. I love reading biographies, books about psychology and philosophy and music. I like all kinds of movies, most of which came out before I was born, and I like comedies and kids movies too.

My hometown in Mexico, Atoyac de Alvarez, is a tiny marvellous paradise in a poor, degraded Country. Paradise is one of those words that should be defined personally by individuals.
Like so many poor towns in natural lands, the people there are full of life that could only be inspired by the gorgeous earth around them and the ability to live life face to face with one another, not being constantly in a state of distraction.
