I play music; guitar, piano, percussion and I sing (bands: Follia!, Indra Boone, Asi Sea). Besides music I also love street-theatre, I still perform with 'Teater Exces'.
I also work as a music teacher (a capella, guitar & bandcoaching) in an alternative art school for adults. I studied music-therapy in Heerlen (Netherland) and have worked a lot with children too.
One of my dreams is to start a business that combines traveling/holidays with artistic-creative workshops. A week in Croatia where you can learn throat-singing or swing dance or... whatever. Teaching, playing and traveling is what I love doing.

I'm a people-person, I love how everyone is different. Strange habits, view on the world, cuisine, music,... it is truly fascinating.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Traveling should be an option for everyone. Couchsurfing makes that possible. Not even financially is it very interesting, but you get to know places in a way you would never get to know it if you were a simple tourist. In hostels you get to know other travelers, but with couchsurfing you get to know a place. 'CS-hosters' show you their world, their favorite spots to hang out, their friends,... it is the best way to get to know a place for real.

I have hosted only twice but I hope to do that more now that I have room. Unfortunately I can only have one person over at a time unless they bring a sleeping bag. my living room is big enough for 2 or 3 people to sleep.
