ABOUT ME

I have worked in the field of adventure sports and wildlife for the past 23 years. My passion for wildlife & nature was ignited in my childhood years, since I spent most of my summers in the Melghat Tiger Reserve in Central India. With an intense passion for photography, I also have a proficiency in ornithology, mammals and natural history. I started my outdoor career with Nature Trails – an environmental education campsite and went onto work with WWF Pune as a Naturalist. I have spent 5 years working in Kanha Tiger Reserve (Madhya Pradesh), where I gained insights and expertise in central Indian forests. Traveling extensively around the country, whether I am guiding wildlife groups, diving in coral reefs or skiing in the Himalayas, I feel at home in all terrains. I believes that the urban man has lost touch with nature and strongly feel that educating and helping people reconnect with nature will go a long way in invoking the spirit of awareness and conservation. According to me, conservation of wildlife and natural landscapes is essential for the long time survival of the human race.
