i am a UK senior studying International Studies and Psychology, pursuing a career in public health education. i work at a radio station as the office manager, and teach private dance lessons on the side. i live in a house near campus with 3 lovely ladies, and we are always happy to have people over.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

since my boyfriend and i started dating, we have done a lot of traveling and have gained amazing experience. one or both of us has been to Louisville, San Francisco, Charlotte, Atlanta, Nicaragua, and even Paris (France) just within the last year! we love to help people and make new friends, so couchsurfing is the perfect place to make that happen.

Interests

i've been dancing for 2 years, primarily swing and blues style. i like to do yoga and have been practicing mindfulness meditation for 3 years. i can cook basically anything, but i love baking the most. i don't have a cat, but i am crazy about them.

Music, Movies, and Books

currently reading A Thousand Splendid Suns, favorite book ever is Eat Pray Love. i love The Sound of Music so much, i need to watch it at least twice a year or i will shrivel up. i'm really into Motown and soul music, but bluegrass is my guilty pleasure because it reminds me of the mountains.
