ABOUT ME

Passionated about books, stunning sentences and words but also about medicine, nature in its purest form and paintings or statues that move me. Nevertheless quite good in relativizing life and trying to relax and enjoy life as much as possible for example by meeting new people with the same interests and ideas (or new interests and ideas that can inspire me).

I love it to be engaged in some big projects (both for myself or together with others). That means that I'm buzy organizing things all the time but for me that's an important part of doing something useful (at least for me) with my life.

PHILOSOPHY

My personal challenge is to enjoy the small things in life, trying to keep on thinking big but acting small and realistic. (Not always easy)

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

After having experienced so much hospitality from other couchsurfers and people in other countries in general, I wanna give something back by trying to be a great host myself too.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I travelled to Canada in October 2012 to visit Montréal and participate in a Conference in Thunder Bay. It was my first long-distance-journey I did on my own so I decided to try CS and it was a great experience!
I went to "la fête des lampions" in Montréal with 5 other people from CS, I did an observership in rural medicine with a doctor in Thunder Bay and I went to some pubs with a girl from Thunder Bay. During my stay in Thunder Bay it was very enriching to met so many locals that I decided to engage me more in meeting international people through hosting and surfing!

Interests

I like tasting culture in all it's facets. I'm a fan of modern art but I'm certainly not an expert, I just like to visit musea when I'm travelling but the right balance must be struck between musea, sightseeing and just relaxing with a drink,...

From my 9th until my 18th I played theatre in my spare time but due to my studies and other interests I stopped doing it. Nevertheless I'm still passionated by theatre and I like to watch a play now and then.
