About Me

Who am I? I can't say.. My seasons change from day to day..

Well I can try.. For sure I'm a conscious, social, funny, honest, sweet, responsible and adventurous person. Stubborn too. Very interested in life itself and how it manifests, changes and unfolds itself in many ways.

After 7 years of squatting i moved to my own place in Driebergen, which is quite nice, close to the forest. Saving up for a campervan to be more flexible again :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'd like to show more people what it's like to live in Holland and offer a free place to sleep and stay for awhile. With providing this I'm hoping to spread more consciousness and awareness to the people i'm hosting and make the world less money-dependant. Also it's a great oppertunity to meet people you wouldn't meet otherwise and through this spread more knowledge and experience!

It's a great initiative and way more of an experience to see a city or place instead of staying at a hostel or hotel. Depending of the host you get a real indepth experience of the local life and places you would never discover without.

Interests

Making/listening/enjoying music(!), arts, culture, nature, cooking, healing (in a broad way) juggling, travelling (inwards and outwards), rockclimbing, surfing, bicycling, self-sustainability and sufficiency, woodworking, engineering, permaculture, sharing things with nice people.

My dream is to combine most of these things (if not all) into a self-sustainable community one day..

Music, Movies, and Books

Music is one of my greatest thriving forces in life.

I'm interested in many different styles and genres, but above all a fusion of different styles and experiments is the sound I like the most.

Some favorites are Reggae/Dub, Singer/Songwriter, Tribal/Shamanic, Sufi/Arabic, Psychill, Experimental Electronics, Worldbeats and Nu-Jazz.

Movies: The Darjeeling Limited, Cloud Atlas, Waking Life, Mr. Nobody, Slumdog Millionaire, Jabberwocky.

Books are still a field I want to discover more. I am too disctracted by other things most of the time. Really enjoyed reading The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho and The Art of Dreaming by Carlos Castaneda.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Starting to completely love myself and other people unconditionally.

Teach, Learn, Share

I know some juggling with balls, clubs and flowersticks. Know how to walk a slackline. Tune a djembe and play some rhythms. I can cook quite a lot of food, mix some tea/drinks.

I can tell you stuff about nature, herbs/psychedelics, the universe and shamanism. Also I can enriche your music and movies database, and learn you some digital mixing. Teach you how to do circular breathing on a didgeridoo. Can tell you about the countries I've traveled and ways to improve you personal development. Provide a platform for learning and introduce you to a number of self-conscious, beautiful people.

Some things I want to learn are: acrobatic tricks, capoeira, yoga.. to improve my health and flexibility. Diving. Circular breathing. Learn how to surf and improve my climbing skills.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I feel like the world is a playground and for me couchsurfing allows me to play a little bit more! Thank you for putting up this platform, it's really inspiring!

It's about letting go, seeing all of us as one instead of the seperate illusion that we appear to be.

For me hosting people (and surfing) allowed me to open up more and see what is possible if we share things, experiences and facilities to trigger the consciousness and playfulness.

Austria, Belgium, Croatia, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Hungary, India, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, Morocco, Poland, Portugal, Slovenia, Spain, Sri Lanka
