I recently relocated to Lethbridge, a small yet magnificent city in southern Alberta, where the Canadian prairies meet the Rocky Mountains and create one of the planet's most mesmerizing scenery. My dream is to take a journey around the world with just a tiny backpack carefully packed with all the essentials: a camera to capture memories, a notebook to write down experiences, a traveling paint set for creating my postcards to send to my friends around the world, a pair of sunglasses, a hat, and a good pair of shoes. Throughout my journey, I aim to connect with locals, immerse myself in their communities, and forge meaningful friendships. Couchsurfing has made it all possible, which is why I am here.

There have been many amazing things in my life, but the most incredible of them all was narrowly escaping death and escaping Pakistan successfully.

A few hours after being released from 14 months of illegal imprisonment, I was targeted to be killed by religious fanatics on accusations of blasphemy against Islam. I fled to save my life and managed to escape the country despite travel restrictions due to COVID-19 and having my passport blacklisted by Pakistani military intelligence. This was the most amazing thing that ever happened to me.

I want to learn the Spanish language because most of my friends while I was seeking asylum in Thailand were either from the Spanish embassy in Thailand or some of them were living there. I fell in love with this language.
