About Me

Hello world! New on this app. I'm one of the smilest person on earth you will ever meet, being always happy and easy-going is my way of life. Always down to discover new cultures and people through every trip I make, usually with a good beer, because it's how you really soak in a country's atmosphere.
I love outdoors and getting lost in a city to find some places I would never have found. But Netflix and chill is as great as having a good conversation. 😁
I've been educated by a loving couple, a teacher and a hippie, who taught me politeness and respect, the main values I preach for.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

In here because I know people are welcoming and it's easier to get deep in a country when you can do what real locals do or know about their city, not the tourist activites or attractions.
We're making a roadtrip with a friend around USA and Canada : starts from San Francisco, CA to Seattle, Vancouver, Calgary, Winnipeg, Montréal, Toronto then the East Coast and we want to end our trip at La Havane, Cuba. That's why we're looking for welcoming and kind hosts to make our journey more lively and enriching. 🗺️

Interests

Music makes me dance if it's good vibes and groovy (damn I love disco, funk, house so much) and I can spend days in vintage clothing shops. I love to hang out with my friends and with new people because I think it's one of the most easy way to get to know each other instead of social apps. Food is like a religion to me, tasting local cuisines all over the world is one of the only path I strongly follow.
I'm a very sporty person, basketball is the sport I love the most I've been playing it for 16 years now but I like sports in general, hiking is also such a good way to discover landscapes and I'd love to learn how to surf.

Music, Movies, and Books

Son of a great talented musician he made love music as a big part of our lives, a day without music is something I can't stand. Widely open-minded I listen to many diferent styles : from Pink Floyd, the Rolling Stones, The Beatles, Johnny Cash, Elvis the one and only to John Coltrane, Duke Ellington, Fats Domino and so much more. As I said groovy transcends me (disco, house, funk, ragtime) and I'm a huge fan of underground electronic music (djing is one of my lobbies in france)
I've lost envy for books when I entered high school but I'm beginning now to read again mostly crime novels or society related stories.
I could make you a list of the movies I saw but it will too long and boring, just remember I'm as passionate by music as i'm by cinema 😉

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

A 2 weeks road trip in the Egyptian desert with family and friends when I was younger by 4x4, camels and sleeping under tents, eating local food for every meal. The first powerful experience who made the globetrotter I am now

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you how to play basketball but sorry I'll always win if we play 1on1 (no mercy 😁), if you want to know how to cook the best quiche (kind of french pie) I'm your man!
I'm traveling, of course to discover cultures but also to be the most fluently possible in English and Spanish for my future job. That's why I chose "learning English" because everyone is always learning something, nobody knows everything and we have all to learn from each other such as experiences and cultures.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Anything they need, from house chores to bringing joy, happiness in their home and of course some French culture/food, I am a "quiche" master (but not sure I'll find all the ingredients where I travel) 😁

Countries I’ve Visited

Bulgaria, Cambodia, Canada, Egypt, Germany, Italy, Malta, Morocco, Netherlands, Spain, Sri Lanka, Switzerland, Thailand, Tunisia, United Arab Emirates, United States
