About Me

I'm a 25 years old student based in Munich, but originally from Tunisia. I'm very passionate (and that's an understatement) about music, and love combining city trips with some concerts, festivals or events . I am always up for a drink or a trip to the mountains or to the movies or to an art gallery, or anything fun really. :-)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think that meeting new people makes up for a big part of a travelling experience.
When thinking about any great experience I had, the first thing that comes to mind is the people I got to share it with, whether friends or strangers who turned into friends. I think about the laughs I had with them, the deep conversations, the interests we surprisingly had in common, and the new perspective they brought to me. So that's what I am here for!

Classic, Experimental, Indie and Alternative Rock (Radiohead , Queen, Joy Division , Pink Floyd , The National, Arcade Fire, Sigur Ros, Mac Demarco...), funk and jazz classics, and a little bit of everything. I'm also into electronic music, mainly ambient and downtempo stuff, like Aphex Twin, Nils Frahm, Kiasmos, Christian Löffler...
Books: The Stranger, 1984 , The Unbearable Lightness of Being, Being and Nothingness, Sapiens ...
Movies: The Big Lebowski, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Her, Annie Hall, Call Me By Your Name, The Master...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I honestly can't think of anything amazing I have done, but maybe moving to a foreign country alone at 19?

Teach, Learn, Share

I study engineering, so I could tell you a thing or two about coding, silicon devices or quantum computing, but I doubt you would be interested in that.
I could however tell you 1001 stories about my beloved home country, and what Germany changed in me. I could cook something delicious, or teach you how to haggle in souks and markets. I could talk for hours about music, about global warming, or about social privilege. And I would love to know about the last movie you saw, the last article you read and the last country you visited...

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Belgium, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, France, Hungary, Italy, Luxembourg, Malta, Slovenia, Spain, Switzerland, Tunisia, United States

Countries I’ve Lived In

Germany, Tunisia
