Overview
About Me
Born and raised in a small portuguese village, I decided to study psychology (the "behavioral science") in the beautiful City of Students, Coimbra (Portugal).
An unexpected e-mail helped me to be doing European Voluntary Service (EVS) in the country of the most enchanting landscapes of fairy tales - Slovenia.
Currently, I still look for a way to combine my passion for people and the way they express themselves freely, with a passion for food and different flavors, as a way to continuously create, renew and share life in a sustainable society.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
In the last 7 years I have had the opportunity to be received in homes of fantastic individuals and families, who not only welcomed me as if I were part of their family, but also taught me values and unforgettable experiences. It was from these enriching experiences that I also started to host individuals and groups, forming a share and support network that still remains active nowadays. So far, all my experiences, whether as a guest or as a host, were very positive.
Interests
Where should I start?! Family and couple behavior, sustainable and resilient communities, conscious personal development, all the imaginable forms of individual expression (e.g., music, video, singing, dancing, painting, doing nothing...), learn how things are done... cooking, smells and tastes, nature...

Music, Movies, and Books
I like to know a little of everything, so my musical, literary and film interests differ significantly from each other. But in general I can say that the entire discography of Pink Floyd will always be a reference to me, I love documentaries, and as for the books... Well, I like those who transport me to another universe where I can learn and dream, and those that have blank pages for me to write :)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I jumped from a bridge, about 4 meters high, without knowing its background... And I repeated.
Teach, Learn, Share
The ability of human beings share experiences, learn from them and contribute to create something new through it it's inexhaustible, an endless cycle. Therefore, I'm totally open and interested in learning about different ways of individual, family/friends and community living, and about different cultures and traditions, while I share about my own roots.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Always willing to help in what is required, I'm also available to cook traditional portuguese food and desserts.
