I love backpacking and a good adventure! I'm very eager to know the world and all it's nooks.
I think I can say that I have an easy smile and I'm very outgoing and talkative. I love to stay outside for long hours, enjoying the nature and it's smells and noises, having a nice conversation, hearing to good stories, and drinking a beer or a glass of wine.
Despite I don't play any instrument, I love listening to music, to dance and to sing (even if I don't do it very well)!
I try to embrace every opportunity that I can, and it doesn't really matter if it's a running challenge, a voluntary project, or a payed job. I try to have a very proactive attitude.
I'm passionate about life, and I always try to make the most of every day.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
So you can truly travel and get to know the places you're visiting, you need to know the locals. That's why I'm on couchsurfing!! :)
Interests
I love to travel, to meet different cultures and people! I never turn down an opportunity to go somewhere, or do something different than usual!
My travelling experiences are a result of my personal savings, once I'm a full time student. So, actually, I'm always broke because I spend every cent that I save to go somewhere new =)
Besides travelling, witch is the greatest hobby I have, I like sports, specially running, reading, outdoor activities, going to the beach, mountain, tracking,... Once in a while, especially on winter, I like to stay home, watching a movie, underneath a warm blanket with the fireplace lighten up.
I've done a 6 months studies exchange program in Rio de Janeiro, back in 2013, followed by 1 month of solo backpacking trip around Brazil's northeast coast (4000 km). It was one of the happiest periods of my life!! :)
I've also traveled in Europe, hitchhiking, from Frankfurt to Athens!! :)
I've always wanted to do an EVS (European Voluntary Service), so after finishing my course I've been a volunteer for 6 months in a slum on the surroundings of Buenos Aires, working with kids from 5 to 13 years old, helping them with their homework and preparing recreational and didactic activities. My boyfriend and I have also worked in Villa 21 in a carpentry that aimed to teach a craft to people with addiction problems and occupy their days with a "mission". We were building furniture with pallets.
And, as we felt we could do even more, we joined a project of building houses out of pallets, adobe and waste, and this was the cherry on top of the cake! :)
But South America is so big and beautiful, that we couldn't leave the continent without knowing some more, so we backpacked for 3 months, from Lima, Peru, to Santiago de Chile, crossing Bolivia from Copacabana to Villazón, and the northwest of Argentina, from La Quiaca to Mendoza.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've seen some great places, but what actually amazed me were the people I met! Different lifestyles and perspectives inspired me and made me wonder about my own.
This happens all the time I meet someone new, and I love it!
