Overview
About Me
We are two girls in our early thirties who are travelling to Sardinia on vacation the first week of May.
We are both from Madrid, but we have been living in Bilbao for more than 5 years. We met there and have been roommates ever since. We both work there but like almost everyone, we are not happy in our jobs, so we are thinking about starting a business together. If you want to know more about it, we are more than happy to talk about our future project.
We also have a dog in common, but unfortunately she cannot come with us on this trip, but we love talking about her and showing photos, of course, she is our spoiled child.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
We want to enjoy the trip to the fullest, that's why we want to use Couchsurfing and meet people from all over the island. We have already tried the experience several times and it has always been incredible. It is the best way to enjoy and get to know the places you are visiting, and it is also incredible to share it with people from every place, city, corner.
It's been a while since we used this way of traveling, we're getting old... But that's why we want to recover our youth and take advantage of this trip to get to know everyone and everything that Sardinia can offer us.
Interests

Reading.

Walk with our dog.
Nature itself, we enjoy going to hike, to the beach or just to explore. Trees are life!
🕺🏻 Organize parties in our home. We love to meet different people, and when we moved to Bilbao we started doing parties to make new friends. It worked and now, our parties are kind of famous. Always with the consent of our neighborhoods!
We love cooking and sharing food with friends.
We love animals, one of us is vegan and the other has no problem with plant based food.
A glass of wine and a good talk are two nice things to start a relation.

Music, Movies, and Books
We both love music.
Marta was working on a rock & roll radio station, and sometimes she plays music on her vinyl records in bar or parties.
On our house parties, live music never fails. We ask to small bands to play and have a good time.
Electronic music, specially techno, is one of our favorites. We also love music from all around the world, like cumbia or psych turk. We started learning to play some instruments, and we dreamed about to have our own band. Drums and bass here! 🏻
It's hard to choose our favorites books or movies, because we read a lot and watch a lot of movies. Maybe we can share a conversation about this subject.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
We almost died on a wonderful summer afternoon on a river while boating with our dog.
Spoiler, we're all fine, our dog was the calmest during the dramatic situation. Why don't we have a beer and tell you?
Also, last year we started a campain to preserve the trees of our street. The city council wanted to cut all them down with no good reason and we organized our neighborhood to fight and save them. Do you want to know how did It ended?
What I Can Share with Hosts
We can offer a really good conversation, a delicious food and two very clean and peaceful people.
We don't want to be the classic tourists, we would love to enjoy the island of Sardinia with people who could be future friends, visiting nature and don't disturbing it.
