Olá! I am a portuguese college student currently studying Medicine and looking forward to a life full of adventures and wonderful people! :)

Couchsurfing succeeds in joining travelling with making new friends, and that must be one of the best combinations ever. Also, i believe people are the ones who make places beautiful, and that's among the main reasons i like to leave the comfort of home, to see the world through different eyes.

Music, Movies, and Books
I guess i love practically everything Lorde creates. Pink Floyd, Damien Rice, alt-J, Eddie Vedder, are usually on my 'looking at the window of a 3-hour bus ride thinking about life' playlist. Tribalistas never fail to cheer me up.
Books are very special to me, and i like to read a little of everything. I tend to find slow-paced romances with unique storylines and rather deep, complex characters the most compelling. Something along the line of The Shadow of the Wind.
My world would not be the same without Hayao Miyazaki. His creativity and ability to portray important and even serious topics in such original and meaningful ways have produced some of the most beautiful works of art I've ever seen. It seems to me that he just doesn't know how to be boring. In a society where routine and standardized patterns are fabricated everyday and made fashionable, he is a fresh breeze of groundbreaking thoughts and dreams. The soundtracks are amazing as well :)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've once managed to unintentionally step on a flying bee. I was playing badminton and it got stuck in my foot. I did feel sorry for it at some point, but it all went away when it got its revenge.
Teach, Learn, Share
I don't know who you are. I don't know what you want. If you're looking for ransom, I can tell you I don't have money... but what I do have are a very particular set of skills. Skills I have acquired over a very long career. Skills that make me... actually, as a med student, not many skills left. But i can teach you how to make the best handmade water blaster to annoy all of your friends and family on summer holidays!
What I Can Share with Hosts
Good stories, funny experiences, life philosophies, someone to depress with about a money driven world, a fellow chocolate-eating maniac. And of course, an extra pair of hands in the kitchen! :)
