I am a Portuguese 26 year old who is passionate about travelling and getting to know new places, cultures and people. I always loved to travel and after 2008, the first time I lived abroad for an Erasmus (in France) I developed my interest in experiencing other countries and adapt to a different culture (though only European still). I am particularly interested in contacting with others, even though I am not a very extrovert person. I love photography, lindy hop, social intervention and architecture . Although I like to think and organize my future, I always try to focus on the present and live each day at a time, trying to take most of its positive side (carpe diem).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I look forward to meet new people and get to know new places, not only "turistically" but, mostly, from locals' expert view.

Interests

Photography, architecture, psychology (particularly community psychology and social intervention), reading, dancing (particularly lindy hop), travelling, cinema, and good gastronomy (cooking as well, although sometimes I am not as successful as I wished). I love to meet new people and get to know new places and cultures.

Music, Movies, and Books

Regarding music I like jazz a lot, as well as balkan music, rock and electronica. As for reading, I like to read a lot, but sometimes it happens that I start several books at the same time. I am particularly interested in books (romance/reports) related to social and urban issues (e.g. I am Malala - Malala, Le città invisibile - Italo Calvino), cultural differences, and of course photography (e.g. Sebastião Salgado).
