About Me

Journalist, part time (dreaming to be full time) traveller.

I love to discover and tell good stories and although I love my job, I usually I spend my whole year dreaming of the next travel. When I'm able to do both things - to travel and to tell stories at the same time - I'm the happiest person on earth.

I'm also addicted to music. Singing and playing guitar/piano is my escape and one of my big passions.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

When I'm visiting a country, I want to discover the culture, to know the habbits, the strange things you do, what you love to eat and the hidden places you go when you're sick of tourists.

During my trips I found the best way to do that: couchsurfing!

Interests

Journalism, Filmmaking, Photography, Music and TRAVELLING!

I also like: good food, good wine, drinking beer in that awesome rooftop, enjoying the nature, swimming in that beautiful lake with no one around, watching the stars. Well, basically the simple things in life that make you feel free.

Music, Movies, and Books

Portuguese and brazilian music (fado, bossa nova, samba). Some portuguese artists: António Zambujo, Ana Moura, Carminho, Deolinda, Gisela João, Salvador Sobral. The brazilian masters - Tom Jobim, Vinicius de Moraes, Chico Buarque, Elis Regina, Caetano Veloso

All the Jazz classics! (I'd like to have Ella's voice and Bill Evan's hands)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've had some really cool experiences: I made Erasmus in Rome (yes, I gained some weight and I'm proud of it), I went to Angola to a one month missionary mission, 3 InterRails and counting

What I Can Share with Hosts

In my trips, when it's possible, I carry my ukulele (I would carry my guitar, but unfortunately it takes too much space and caution). Is there any better way to know a culture than listening to its music?

Countries I’ve Visited

Angola, Austria, Belgium, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Czech Republic, England, France, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Monaco, Montenegro, Morocco, Netherlands, Poland, Scotland, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain

Countries I’ve Lived In
