About Me

I am 28 doing my Masters degree, had my first overseas trip being a family (I have an awesome, loud and crazy kid called Maxi) and I am just planning our trip to Portugal in March...

Obiously I love travelling and getting to know people and cultures (especially the food part).
I started to go travelling every school holiday when I was about 18 and it somehow became a real addiction, having to have at least an idea of the next trip already on the way back home (I guess most of you know what I am talking about).

I would say I am open-minded in most matters, most of the time easy-going, sometimes lazy, sometimes slightly hyperactive, always in for good (or sometimes not so good) food, crazy ideas, travel planning, a good book, a weird conversation or a spot in the sun.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think it is an awesome way to travel and I only had great experiences.

After living in Berlin for 5 years I now live with Andy (a workaholic chef and my boyfriend since forever) and Maxi in a very quiet little village close to the Black Forest.
While enjoying the space and green we also miss being around people with different backgrounds, lifestyles and ideas.
That is why we would love to have some people around every once in a while and share our life which normally is calm and chaotic at the same time.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Camping at a huge lake in New Zealand. No one else around. Only the lake, mountains and a big forest with amazing waterfalls and wallabies (there actually are wallabies in NZ!). It was amazing!

Teach, Learn, Share

I really want to learn how to make cheese, spanish and something about alternative ways of living...
Andy is always interested in new recipies and different ways of cooking.

I can share some information about being a mum, cloth nappies or the humanitarian aid sector.
Andy is great chef. He also knows a lot about working on a farm.
