ABOUT ME

Well... My name is Inês, I could say that I'm just a girl, it's true, but I think I'm the right kind of girl for this sort of program.
I love to travel, haven't had the opportunity to go everywhere I want to go, by far! But it is a goal..
I've been living in Lisbon for 5 years now, I came here to study, like so many other people, and just fell in love with the city and the people I met here. I believe that if you get to see the city like I do, you'll fall in love with her too.
I'm still studying (about to finish, tough), and in my free time I like to do a lot of stuff, that you can check on the boxes below...

I haven't had the chance to couchsurf yet, but I'm expecting it to be one of the best experiences of my life!

兴趣

I like to read, although I'm always so tired that sometimes I don't have the guts to pick up the book! I love going to concerts and festivals with my friends (we have a lot of that in Portugal :D ); I love the afternoon almost empty sessions at the movie theater, and to go watch movies sometimes no one has ever heard about; I like to jump in to the sea and just stay there for a while; I like to go out for a coffee or a beer in the afternoon and just stay there for hours chatting with my friends; I like to cook, a lot!! I like to play with my dog and hug her until she has had just enough; I like to fall asleep cuddled while it rains outside... Hum, a like a lot of stuff, ahn?

I prefer to read romances, but in the end, it all comes to if it is a good book or not; I like classics and south american authors mostly. But my boyfriend is introducing me to sci-fi.
I don't have a favorite band, I like different types of music, I listen to jazz and rock mostly, some trip-hop, grunge...
About movies... thrillers, disney animated movies and dramas, I think; I like to laugh, a lot, believe me, but some comedy movies are just so stupid that it doesn't work for me.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I'm still young... but one thing I absolutely loved to do was to go to Lithuania for a month. Such a different country, such different history and people, and so beautiful! I got to know and live with people from so many different countries and manage to stay friends with them. It was one of the most rewarding experiences ever.
Ah, and being in love; it's awesome :)

I can show you the best places to visit in Portugal and tell you their stories, I can show you portuguese traditional dishes so you can appreciate how great our food is, we can talk about pretty much anything that comes up. In return I hope you tell me about your traditions, your favorite places in the city to do whatever you feel like doing, and I hope you can share you travel experience with me, your favorite places on earth, you favorite people on earth.
