About Me

CURRENT MISSION

learning. It is wonderful to know places, things, people, cultures, beliefs.

ABOUT ME

ENGLISH

I have just moved to Florianópolis, and I still don't know what I like doing here. I'm discovering the city and right now I'm not hosting.

I love traveling and getting to know different people and places. My family and I hosted exchange program students (4 Germans, 2 Brazilians and 1 Spanish). These experiences were so enriching that I decided myself to go to USA to live with an American family, study there, and of course travel around the country. That's when I made my Couchsurfing profile and used it to surf. When I came back to Brazil I decided to host people (since I do not travel as much as I wish). I have had nice experiences until now.
What can I say about me? I enjoy long walks, visiting parks and Museums, watching music, dance presentations and cultural events. I also like going to open markets, and local festivals.

I'm not a party girl. I like going to pubs and even dancing but I don't go so often. If you expect company to party hard you'll probably get disappointed.

What I really like is to be with people I can learn from and with. I enjoy people who are passionate about something, who live and study something deeply, and those who are open to share and discuss what they know.
I believe that there are some wannabe interesting people in CS community, which I think it is hard to connect with.

I love dancing, arts, literature, poetry, movies, nature, life.

E tenho dificuldade de me aproximar destas pessoas.

One of the amazing things I've ever seen was the Grand Canyon and the Yosemite National Park in the USA, and Iguaçu Falls in Brazil. These are places that show how human kind has a limit. Even if we try to do something wonderful, it won't nearly be as magical as an environment of thousands of years that is still alive. These places nature shows all its strength.

Doing a road trip around the east cost of USA was one of the most amazing things I've done.

I've danced in the rain in the middle of the street

I've seen a Polar bear and a starry night in the farm.

I've swun in crystal water.
