Overview
About Me
For the past 8 years I have been living in Berlin, but I have also stayed abroad (in New Zealand, Izmir and Ankara), and travelled a bit .
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I am interested in people and think that if you want to understand a country as well as a society you have to talk to the people. One thing I enjoy about travelling is that you might reset your mind, change opinions and perspectives. When I remember my travels, usually I don´t remember the great picture I have seen in a museum or the strange image of an omnipresent king, but a conversation I had about it.
It is a great feeling to feel at home with people in a different country and I would like to share this experience with my guests.
Interests
Literature, Philosophy, People, History and travelling.
I tried out nearly every possible kind of sports and somehow ended up doing a lot of stuff, continuously changing and always open to try out something new .

Music, Movies, and Books
There some books and authors who have influenced me to a great extent, David Foster Wallace, Thomas Mann, and Max Frisch for exampleI, but I never made it to a favorite book ( for it might have changed very quickly...). There´s also a great japanese book about Tea I can recommend strongly...
The next book I am about to start is by Thomas Melle who wrote about having a Bipolar Disorder.
"Into the wild", "the godfather", "fight club","Lucky" and "The lobster" are good ones to start with.
