Overview
About Me
Practising flow. Enjoying freedom. Born in Argentina, living in Barcelona since 2008.
I LOVE to dance, I've danced since I have memory. Started dancing contact improvisation when I was twenty and fell in love with contemporary dance and improvisation shortly after. Right now I explore 5 rhythms and Ecstatic Dance.
Movement to me is the key to feeling, healing and transcending myself. It's also the one activity where being in the present is absolutely required.... so for me it's like detoxing and meditating. Spirituality can be sensual and fun :-)
I am also a journalist... I used to be really good with words, writing, opinions, etc, however moving to Spain has completely messed up my mother tongue. I love unlearning things and being in a state of innocence, like a baby. I am still a communicator though! I love languages and expression.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Beginner! My first unofficial Couchsurfing experience was in Paris with someone I met on the plane from Buenos Aires to Madrid.
Interests
Anything that has to do with innovative ideas, art, movement, body therapy and music. I listen to a lot of music, I love reading about music and watching films about music.
Traveling of course. I like being surrounded by people from different cultures and learning from them... I prefer to avoid cities and learn how people live in rural environments. I used to work in international development assisting indigenous communities.
Right now I'm mostly focused on my spiritual journey.

Music, Movies, and Books
My range is quite broad: I can watch and read pretty much anything...I'm open.
I do love documentaries, I love Pennebaker, Wiseman, Depardon, Van der Keuken, Mekas etc etc. Need to make more time to watch these guys, they are geniuses.
I like watching non fiction but enjoy reading fiction, although lately I'm reading spiritual/therapeutic stuff.
Music: I have a soft spot for Luis Alberto Spinetta, none of my non latin friends understand it, but he was an amazing artist and poet, and a consistently sensitive human being.
