Overview
About Me
I would think of myself as a cheerful, positive-thinking person. I am pretty open-minded and always try to see the best in each person and situation. I can also be very calm and quiet at times. But usually I am pretty talkative. I guess(as so many things) it always depends on the situation and mood.
I like to hang out with my friends a lot and go to the movies or have a drink and party. Company in generell I enjoy very much.
Besides that I like to read and go for walks. I am very interested in theater, that's why I studied "Dramatics and Media" (Theater und Medienwissenschaften) in Bayreuth.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I am on Couchsurfing because I think it is a great way of getting to know other cities/countries and the people who live there. Culture is a human phanomenon and if you don't get to know people, how are you supposed to get to know their culture?
Interests
I am interested in travelling and getting to know other countries and cultures. If we get a better feeling and understanding of how and why other people live the way they do, we would all get along with each other so much better.
Furthermore, I love everyting that has to do with theater: working behind the scenes, being on stage or the theory behind it.
I like to read books, go to the movies and just hang out with friends.

Music, Movies, and Books
Movies: All time favorits are 500 Days of Summer and The Lord of The Rings. I also liked a lot: Like Crazy, We Need to Talk About Kevin, Whiplash, The Perks of Being a Wallflower
Books: Harry Potter, The Princess Bride, Love Will Tear Us Apart, Classics (Peter Pan, Tarzan, Dracula etc.), everything from José Saramago
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The most fantastic thing was my au pair year. Not only because of the country I lived in or the places I have seen. But for the great host family I had. I am still in touch with them and visit them regulary. Having a second wonderful family was the best part about it.
Teach, Learn, Share
Hmm, what could I teach you? Probably some German, if you don't speak it already. Maybe something about theater.
I'd love to learn as much as I can.
