About Me
🚨Please be aware that I won’t be available to accept guests in September and between the 6th and 30th October as I will be travelling abroad 🚨
⚠️ I only consider last minute requests, just go with the flow 🌊
I am from Belgium and I am living in Madrid since 2017.
I am a dynamic and social person. I love learning new languages (I currently speak 5) and being in contact with diverse cultures.
I am a talkative and outgoing person yet very respectful of others, I like to make people feel comfortable and that's why I like the concept of CouchSurfing. I am also on BeWelcome.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Because travelling made me see the world with different eyes, it opened my mind and challenged my empathy.
I like meeting new people and be closer to different cultures, it's really enriching.
A fun way to travel, be part of a travelling community, and let's be honest, it's cheaper :-).

Music, Movies, and Books
READING
French (Emile Zola, Victor Hugo, Amin Maalouf, Virginie Despentes) and Italian Literature (Elsa Morante, Elena Ferrante, Stefania Auci, Roberto Saviano, Antonio Tabucchi, Giuseppe Tomasi di Lampedusa)
I also enjoy personal development books (Christophe André).
My 3 favourite books:
1. Les Misérables (Victor Hugo)
2. L'insoutenable légèreté de l'être (Milan Kundera)
3. Eat, Love, Pray (Elizabeth Gilbert)
MUSIC
I listen to all kinds of music (from classical music to hard rock music) mostly in French, English, Spanish and also Italian. My favorite kinds of music are soul, blues, jazz.
Artists I listen to very often : Eric Clapton, Sade, John Legend, Lauryn Hill, Nina Simone, Otis Redding, Serge Gainsbourg, Vanessa Paradis, Christine & The Queens, Pauline Croze, George Brassens, Pino Daniele, Lucio Battisti, Robe (Roberto Iniesta), Buika, Diego el Cigala.
CINEMA/SERIES
One of my favorite movies of all times : "A tramway named desire".
But also like more recent movies such as "Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri" or "La pazza gioia".
I'm an unconditonal fan of "Sex and the City" and "Friends" (watched all their episodes at least 5 times =D)...yes I'm a 90' baby ^_^
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Sounds cheesy but...I like when one can turn a very ordinary life situation into an extraordinary one.
I like the idea that we are all unique but each individual thinking so becomes very common...o reverse?
Still, I must say my first trip to Brasil back in 2013 was one of my best travel memories ever!
Teach, Learn, Share
I like giving a tour of Madrid to share my love for this city I consider as "home".
I'm a big "language exchange" fan, this is how I have improved my level of Italian this year.
I'll tell you more about it in person if interested :-)!
I can teach you French (it's my mother tongue) and Spanish (it's my second language).
What I Can Share with Hosts
Nice conversations about pretty much everything you'd like to talk about. And if there is good wine, a coffee (espresso or latte for me) and/or tasty food involved in this, then I'd say it's close to perfection!
Countries I’ve Lived In
