About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To slowly become a nomad and visit as many countries as possible.
ABOUT ME
I consider myself to be a storyteller, and I enjoy listening to other storytellers. I have a dry and sarcastic, some might say dark, sense of humor at times, and it's something my friends are certainly used to. I cherish my friends very much and I like to keep in touch with them however I can. I can also be fiercely independent and even stubborn, but I can be lovable just as well!
I'm just an old soul trying to find her way in this crazy world. In the process, I'm hoping to teach as well as to learn from others.
PHILOSOPHY
I'm a big believer in one of Oscar Wilde's famous quotes: "Anyone who lives within their means suffers from a lack of imagination."
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I'm still kind of a newbie when it comes to couchsurfing. However, the experiences I had while in the UK were awesome.
I would also love to host in the future, when I have my own place, or I live with roommates who are into it. In the meantime, I'm definitely up for hanging out and showing you around San Francisco!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Couchsurfed (officially) in the UK. Looking forward to hosting.
Interests
Music and movies are a major part of my life. I'm a film student who would have liked to have been in a band, so there you go. I collect vinyl and I enjoy making mixes (perhaps we could trade). Writing is also a passion of mine, though perhaps I don't do it as much as I used to. I'm an ardent fan of Doctor Who, Stanley Kubrick films, the 60s (especially garage rock and the fashion), tea, vintage clothing, baking, and creating. I love dancing to good music when I can and whenever I can afford it, I enjoy live shows.
One of my favorite things to do is go hiking along the coastal trails in the San Francisco area, so when I move by the end of this year, it'll definitely be something I'll miss.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Survived a 3-day long bus ride from California to Louisiana!
Reached the top of Snowdon, Wales' highest peak. Next up, Mt. Everest...?
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you how to bake a few things, including a mixed berry pie.
I can be quite the history buff, so exchanging facts and anecdotes would be fun. If anyone knows knitting and would be patient enough to teach me, it would be amazing.
