About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Go back to places I loved and make new memories

ABOUT ME

Live in the middle of Sweden in a town called Falun. Moved here five years ago due to "promotion" in my line of work. I got two grown up children, my parents still alive, a lot of friends, but still prefer to travel alone. I try to get away for a month or two each year. NEWS! I'm a grandmother.

PHILOSOPHY

It's personal. But without beeing religious, I try to live according to the golden rule.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Music, Movies, and Books

Like movies when I got nothing to do, all kinds of music (I love guns and roses) Read all books I can get hold of, always got one on my night stand.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Given birth to my two children will top any list. Apart from that I stayed for a week on a boat, a travelling hostel in the Yasawa islands outside Fiji. Lived in a little hut built over a lagoon in Samoa. Visited Al Fatah leadership in Ramallah on the West bank. Seen lion cubs sleeping in a tree in Masai Mara, Kenya. Almost got cought by a bomb in Belfast -76. I slept under the stars in the Austalian wilderness, snorkeled the barriar reef, looked for pearls in shark bay and learned to skrape leaches of my legs during a rainforest canoe trip in the same contry. The deserts of Jordan with Petra or the Hawaiian vulcano in action... I can't rank them.

Teach, Learn, Share

I like to get in touch with different cultures to help me understand and broaden my perspective.
I got experience from the Swedish way of life. Trade unions, the political scen, public office and running a small buissnes.

What I Can Share with Hosts

For now just a cup of coaffe.
